During the week of July 12, MLUMC youth group members and a few adults conducted a clean-up, paint-up, fix-up week to ready MLUMC for our 100th Anniversary in 2011. That weekend they enjoyed a brief "vacation" at Lakeside in Ohio. Click the image to view a slide show of activities.

We're also offering Kidz Faith, a summer Sunday School experience for kids ages 3 through fifth grade. Kidz Faith takes place from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday in Asbury Center, on the church's lower level.

MLUMC offers free blood pressure screenings the first Sunday of each month. The screenings will take place in Brookline Parlor, adjacent to the sanctuary, after the 10:45 worship service. A few facts:
>>One in seven people have high blood pressure (HBP).
>>Over half of those with HBP don’t know they have it because they have no symptoms.
>>HBP can be controlled; once it is under control, life can be healthy and happy
>>The only way to find out if you have HBP is to have your pressure checked
